Working on our own flyer's

I wanted this separate from the mixed thread about wallpaper/avatars/flyer's, as it's now one of my projects.

I will save the first design I did for the next tour.
As I briefly mentioned in the first post, I want to create one for the summer festivals - and then maybe specific to each event.

After the mixed reviews of St. Jude I think we should spread the word even more. Just imagine how many people would like their music but don't give them a chance because of bad press, like the way NME have portrayed them

I need your help too!
Please post any of your suggestions and ideas in this thread on how the flyer's should look, will be a great help.

I will put them on here soon but I'm thinking how they would look if professionally printed onto full colour postcards

We could then have a list of definite people who are going to each specific date to hand them out before the gig.

Sign-Up.
I think it's a good idea for me to open the sign-up within this project, members can log their interest about giving out the flayers with their common venues and location of town/city.

This will keep everything in order and when it's near the time for gigs I can then contact the members to see if anyone can help at the specific dates - easy!

So, if you a regular gig goer and would like to help out, please show your interest by signing-up in that thread.

Loads to do then and I'll have to go back to work pretty soon so everything will get more slower but I do need to pay the bills...

Seeing as the lads aren't doing anything major for a while and I'm getting very busy I'm putting this project on hold.

I have all the templates and working designs complete so I can restart it at the right time and when the catalogue is up and running.

Nothing dodgy!

I've just been working on the flyer for glastonbury festival as a bit of light relief away from the catalogue, as they say, a change is as good as a rest ;D

I did a bit of research and got to work.

I'm undecided about the background, I have made 3 variations so far!

I may post some images soon to find out what you think.

So far I have the layout of what I want, just got to add the content another time

My thanks goes out to cal, fergalacrylic41 & kokainekinney who have signed up recently.
I was starting to think frankie would be all on her own giving out the flyers

All different venues has helped too, I can now start planning a few more to work on.

also going to a few gigs which may concern courteeners fans/potential new fans/forum users, gigs like ian brown and glasvegas for example.

What a good idea from kokainekinney, this could a standard design just for handing out at other bands gig with the odd special one for legendary gigs!
I have to think a lot more about this 'kinney but thanks for the idea mate
