the coral are a cut above the rest.......forget the singles collection, just buy all the albums! youl have excellent listening pleasure, the 1st album is supreme. its the album liam fray said he'd wish he'd wrote in nme a few months back, if i remember correctly.

Yeah, if your limited to two or sumat due to funds, just get "The Coral" and "Roots and Echoes" - my two favourite Coral albums. Roots and Echoes was my favourite album of 2007, absoloutely collosal. I reckon the reason why they've been sat on the fringes of indie for so long is that they're completely different to the rest of independant music and it looks like they were born in the wrong era. I agree. when the corals self titles album came out the songs on there were and still are so different to everything out there at the moment. Ahead of their time. Maybe to clever for the modern music scene. looks like me and Noel Gallgher have the same opinion. Def get their first album and Roots and echo's from last year. Both are fantastic albums in their own right. You wont be disapointed.
