i think the arctic monkeys are the only band nowadays that have acheived legend status, i dont mean to say theyre my favourite band, theyre no way near, but in terms of what theyve achieved and who theyve influenced already in there short career, its legendary. if the next album is mega people will back on them in 30 years and still remember them as legends. its its average, hmm who knows i agree with that, i've always thought that in twenty/thirty years time Arctic Monkeys will be regarded in the way in which we regard bands such as The Smiths, The Clash, The Stone Roses etc etc, a third album thats average could ruin this though. Who knows though, cos' The Roses "the second coming" was only quite good, it was nothing special, nor was The Clash's "Give Em Enough Rope" (Though this was made up for with London Calling) so aye, who knows. They're certainly got two classics under their belt

I bloody love arctic monkeys - they are amazing seen them live 3 times - LCC gig last year was class - I mean 60,000 ppl a day for two days - they must have been proper buzzin.....
I couldn't even say what my favourite song is cos there are tooooo many...Do me a favour is epic! Alex turners is a very very clever boy.......his mum is a teacher - as is liams!
Only critism I have on them is they don't work the crowd much when they play live - not like courteeners do....apart from when they did LCC - but you have to have a bit of crack when 60,000 ppl have come to see ya!
