AM is my favourite band, I'm a really big fan of them, when they came to argentina i missed a very important test just to go to the hotel to meet them
i think FWN is an awesome album
i want an album! because the ep's don't come to argentina!

i love them to death bought everything they've ever released, even the japanese version of FWN cos of the bonus tracks (sadly not any of the very early stuff though..demos & that). Some songs i'm not that keen on but the ones i like..i love, and that's most of them tbh. Only seen em twice but the first time they opened with 'if you found this..' & it really was immense. I prefer WPSIATWIN to FWN but come on, it isn't a bad album as albums go is it. Some of those tracks are amazing, especially 'do me a favour'.

Do me a favour, i feel so closee to that song. When i met them i told them to play do me a favour and they did:), but it was pretty obvious that they were going to play it

Lost count of the number of times I've seen them including San Francisco, Boston and New York when their May 2007 States tour coincided with our holiday over there. Not expecting the third album until 2009, lay off FWN ! up there with The National's Boxer in the 2007 album stakes for me.

was in the paper today that the only reason they went to the Brits is that they were already in the area working on some new tunes in the studio

bastards? for having a break? hmmm ok then. How many bands release a (brilliant) 2nd album within 18 months of their debut?

its no surprise, theyve been busy constantly from 2005 right until last christmas so its only fair they have some time off. I'd rather they're off for a bit and get back to their standard of greatness than keep going and release a shoddy 3rd album. When they were at G Mex before Christmas it was evident they needed a break, they were pretty poor that night but I also strongly disliked the venue and most of the people in it. Apollo were good though the week after. But back to the point, they needed a break and I hope I think I know they will release a mint 3rd album once they've had this break. "were having a break for quite a while...." sounds ominous though...

im the king of the pessimists me.
lets hope im wrong.
i think the arctic monkeys are the only band nowadays that have acheived legend status, i dont mean to say theyre my favourite band, theyre no way near, but in terms of what theyve achieved and who theyve influenced already in there short career, its legendary. if the next album is mega people will back on them in 30 years and still remember them as legends. its its average, hmm who knows
