I'm so pleased that people have starting joining the forum I'm going to do a giveaway

The First 20 members will receive a cool badge set I'm having specially designed for this giveaway.
I've asked my favourite badge makers Indie Kids to design the set and they'll be making them ready for late November, so I'll send them all out together (if we get 20 members ).


I'll hopefuly have the images before then and I'll post them on here.

The lucky 20 will receive an email asking for their details, I'll annouce this before sending the emails.

Don't even think of signing up more than once, I HAVE POWERS!

In the original annoucement I said there was no need to register your for the badge if you were one of the first 20.

However, with the admin tools it is not possible to list members in order of sign-up. So could you please post a message here when you sign up and I'll lock this when I have the 20 members.

NEW UPDATE!

I have received the final badge set designs through the post today and I think they look great, ahead of squedule too, as I was promised them late November.

Indie Kids wanted the 1st design to represent the forum and made this from the header they designed me too.

The 2nd could easily have been included in their 'DIY Vintage' Style range, it's well good!

Of course, I had to haggle and get myself a set made (I was the first member you know ;D), so theres only 21 sets!

The 20 members have been sent a PM, to receive your badge set you must reply to it, the PM reads:



Hello lucky member!

I'm pleased to inform you that the badges have safely arrived from Indie Kids and will be sent out next week or when I receive your address.

So now it's up to you, all you have to do is reply to this PM with your subject as "Address for Badges" and only include your Name and Address in the Message.

Those of you who have sent me their address I'll be sending the first batch of badges on Sunday, so you'll receive them about Wednesday

Anyone who hasn't sent me their address yet I'll confirm that your details will only be kept until I have sent your badges then I will delete them, I never and will never use your personal details for any other purposes like a lot of sites

Sorry everyone but due to personal matters there will be a bit of a delay in sending the badges.

I had promised to send them Sunday but things changed rather quickly! Please be patient as I run this forum in my own time and do have other commitments, thanks.

I had a bit of free time this evening, so I got to work.


I finished the design of the badge set packaging, so once my supplies have arrived I'll be able to package them all up and send 'em ;D

I hope your happy with the outcome, I'll post a photo of the finished packaging when it's complete.

I have completed doing the packaging, well my test pressing/prototype, all I need to do now is make them all and wait for a number stamper.

I'll have them made today and the number will be the final touch, I hope the stamper comes this week or I'll have to find another for you lot to receive it by Christmas

It must have been staring me in the face everytime

The number stamper finally arrived in the post which got me to work on finally packaging up the badge sets.

It took ages because of the ink on the stamper took so long to dry I had to wait so I could insert the certificates into the packaging bag (will make more sense when you actually receive them ;D)

So, all the sets are bagged up, I've just got to put the header card on them and get them all ready to send.

So, I should have them sent no later than Tuesday, if all goes well


Oh yeah, some members (5 I think) still haven't sent their addresses, so you have 4 days left if you want them before Xmas!

I'll give them chance to reply, I'll have to give some sort of deadline because it wouldn't be fair to save them forever


The deadline for requesting your badge set is 31st January 2008


I think this is very reasonable because I sent out PM's to all 20 members who signed up and most have replied with addresses.

So, if I'm left with any badge set's I'll think of something [/i][/size]

Finally finished

All the members who replied with their address will have their set sent tomorrow

Remember all the sets are handmade and not perfect, so expect a few smudges or excess ink here and there but I'm sure you'll be happy with them
