im going to see the courteeners live properly 4 the 1st time in december (wel i saw them ages ago supportin harrisons but i dint know who they were back then) and i was wonderin wot to expect? do all you guys think they sound better live or on cd? for example sum bands sound gr8 wen i listen to there album but they just carnt cut it wen it cums to the live stuff

i think they're better live than recorded. you don't get the mad intensity of the gig translating to recorded media very well, although they do a pretty good job.
expect it to be loud, sweaty and make you feel fucking brilliant.

better live, yeah. live highlights for me are always "aftershow", "cavorting" and obviously "acrylic". "please dont" is always good, good to see liam fray without the guitar

yer definatley better live.... seen them at theroadhouse for that xfm in the city thing... seemed like it was only me anda couple of other people who knew the songs but i had an awesome time... they outperformed the ombats who were on afterwards... tiny venue too... wont be seeing them anwhere that small anymore
