Enjoyed the quirky indie pop-ness of the first album and it has to be said this second album is mostly very similar but after a couple of listens I haven't been forced to reach for the skip track button yet despite the pelters it has taken from the critics

Really beginning to like this now with an added bonus of have rediscovered the first album "A Guide to Love, Loss & Desperation".
All told I prefer the guitar based first album rather than the synths in this one but the second album is not without it's merits - Last Night I Dreamt and Techno Fan are great pop songs and the rest have a splattering of the weird lyrics featured in the first album....
Probably 7/10 is a fair score - definitely not a dudd as some crytics would have you believe!
