It's good, better than Beady Eye anyway. how come you're comparing this to Beady Eye? This is alright at best, nothing not to like but nothing special really!

Because thats his thing, he's had several pops at them already. If he is not a fan then fair enough, but you dont have to sl*g them at every chance. I dont come on going well its better than The Drums because there shit For the record, I think Beady Eye are one of the best things out there at the moment, at least rock'n'roll isnt dead.

BACK ON TOPIC!
I quite like the tune, catchy and got nice little parts in it. I'm sure there will be songs of an even better quality on the album, so bring it on.
I have a feeling this album will be somewhere in between Humbug & Favourite Worst Nightmare.

I don't sl*g them off at every chance, in my mind, these two bands are the only two big guitar bands currently active at this moment in time, so I said that. It's an entirely different thing comparing it to The Drums etc.

Just came across very bitchy, there are plenty big bands still doing the rounds. The Courteeners, Kasabian, Arctics & Beady Eye to name but a few.
Granted these are the only two with stuff out very recently but I just felt the comment was inappropriate, fair enough not saying you cant dislike Beady Eye but keep it that thread.

Threads sometime cross, I feel it's relevant if I want to compare the two biggest active guitar bands, I'm sorry if you're offended by that.

Not really offended by it, you have your opinion and I have mine. If we didnt then a forum could never exist and frankly music and life would be very boring.

what you said about it being between Humbug and FWN is right on the money, and the balance they need to find I think. Lyrically its far from their best, but they actually sound like the English QOTSA they seem to want to be on this.

FWN is by far their best album in my opinion. I'm a big fan of Humbug and the tracks James Ford has produced on those albums and The Last Shadow Puppets album.
A mix of the above would be brilliant, but I really dont know what to expect.
