Bit disappointed at the setlist. I was hoping for these gigs they would only play 4 off St.Jude. A couple at the start and the at the end.
This is apparently the last hoorah for Falcon so I was hoping for nearly all of it to be played and a few Falcon b-sides too. Maybe even a new track or two like Sunflower or It'll Take More Than A Weekend......
Hopefully I'll be surprised at the MEN.

They only didn't play Cameo Brooch and Last Of The Ladies, which I'd like to hear but maybe they aren't very suited to gigs? I'm not sure, although I would love some of the Second Folio/B-sides to be played.

Yeah maybe its hard to get them in but there is plenty of b-sides and tracks that are around from the Falcon sessions that they could chuck in. Don't get me wrong, there is not a bad song in the setlist but I just think some of the St.Jude ones could have been dropped to let a few tracks have a few gigs or else they may never do so. I mean the next tour will be after another album I presume so there will be less and less slots available.

Doors were 6.30, Miles was on at 7. It was because they had a Ellie Goulding DJ set on after, although I much prefer earlier gigs. Yeah I noticed all the idiots singing them chants, always bound to get some dicks at the gigs now though. Right, cheers. Doors for London are at 7 so should hopefully be a 9pm start. More pub time, and get to watch first half of United, so that'll do me nicely.

O2 academy do club nights for the 18+ after gigs on Saturday nights, hence the curfew is an hour earlier. It was the same when I saw the lads in Birmingham in March.

Went to see the lads in Leeds earlier this year and then in Leicester last weekend. On a personal note we all enjoyed Leicester more, I can't put my finger on why exactly BUT when Liam said about them being the best crowd we did all turn to each other like what?!?!
When they came on in Leeds everyone went INSANE and stayed like that for the entire concert. When they came on in Leicester 90% of the crowd were stood deadly still and remained like this for most of the concert apart from on a few of the classics where they perked up slightly. I thought it was a lame lame crowd. And yet enjoyed the gig so much. It felt a bit like people were just randomly in there and hadn't come to see The Courteeners play. But like someone said, Liam doesn't seem the sort to just say it for the sake of saying it!
They incorporated Standing Here by the Stone Roses into one of the songs (I forget which - had too many jaegers!) absolutely amazing moment.
Going to Manchester on Sat, polar opposite of what Leicester or Leeds was like I'm imagining.
What does everyone mean when they are saying Second Folio??

Even in London last night, every single song the crowd was absolutely buzzing, even during Liam's solo section. People were still moshing around during How Come and NYD,NYD. Never experienced that at any gig before.

Cocobongo- your right about the crowd, think thats what made it a little subdued for me. the lads were on top form, it was more the crowd that let it down.
