How To Create An Account
• Find the option at the top of the homepage.
• Make sure you enter a real e-mail address; you will need to confirm your details which will be sent via e-mail. Don’t worry; you will get no spam from this forum.
• If you’re on a private computer, I recommend setting yourself as signed in “forever”. You can do this by selecting log-in.
• Remember, you can only view certain parts of the forum by signing in. You also need to sign in to post.
What to do First
• Head to the “new members” section and introduce yourself.
• Go to General Chat and tell us something about your experience with The Courteeners. What’s your favourite song?
• Got a gig planned? Head over to the Gigs section and let us know.
• Try out the search function, many of the things you will want to discuss will probably have their own thread. This keeps track of what everyone has said. Keep in mind there are no strict rules about this, you won’t be punished like on some other forums.
Things to do when The Courteeners are taking a break
• The “Other Bands” section is the first thing to do. Discuss you’re favourite band. Lay into that band you hate but everyone else loves. You’re opinion will never be met with hostility.
• Can you play guitar? Head to the “Guitar tab” section to learn how to play their songs. If the tab isn’t there, you can put in a request and the tab will be there soon.
• Not enough paper in the world? Head to the “Thoughts” section and read through some of the forums poetry. There are hundreds, if not thousands, of poems already there and more come every day. Certain members only come for this section of the board, such is its success. Competitions are also held in this section. Don’t like poetry? You can always check out the reviews in “Review Panel Deviating”
How to Edit Your Profile
• Select “profile” at the top of your screen and then select “modify profile”.
• From here you can change your display name and password but remember, your username will always remain unchanged.
• Selecting a picture can be tricky, the best thing to use is google images, which gives you a direct link to the picture itself. Once the picture is on your screen, copy and paste the address into the “Avatar URL” section.
• “Personal Text” and “Signature” tell us something about you. Most people have lyrics in their own, but feel free to put whatever you like. Personal text appears under your avatar, whereas Signature appears under your post.
