I really dig it. Its not a classic but its totally different to Oasis and seems really free.
Groovy and pretty funky, the hardcore Oasis fans will hate it but a lot of them are too narrow minded.
Its a really good solid tune to start of with, hopefully the album is gonna sound good too.

I'm a hardcore oasis fan and I really loved it. But I agree with you, some of us are really narrow minded and there has been loads of hates. I personally think it's great tune, pure rock and roll with that 60's and psychedelic vibe, which I already sort of expected. I've got really high expectations for the rest of the album, can't wait to hear it.

as much as I like it I do hope their are some mellower tracks on the album, similar to Songbird, acoustic sort of stuff would also be nice to hear from them. took me about 3 hours to get the vinyl!

I think it's just average. It's not a bad song by any means, but being the cocky person he is I don't think he has the right to take the piss out of new bands like he has done in the past with that. Saying that, it's only the first song so I'm sure there'll be plenty more to come from them.

its better than I thought it would be. Its not as easy to dislike when I know there isnt a much better voice playing the guitar.
as for him slagging off modern bands, you can hear in his songs that hes stuck in the 60's, so his loss...

It's ok, the end drags on a bit to me, thought it would be a much stronger song for their world debut I pretty much lost interest in Oasis after What's the story... my tastes evolved and got into a lot more different bands, probably sick of being called indie kid! Anyway, I will be following them just to see what the rest of the album will bring us but if they are stuck in the 60's I won't really bother with them.

Beady Eye are set to play their first live shows in March.
Liam Gallagher's post-Oasis band will play six UK shows – two each in Glasgow, Manchester and London – on the tour, taking in mid-sized venues.
The four-piece will be joined live by keyboard player Matt Jones and bassist Jeff Wootton.
Beady Eye will play:
Glasgow Barrowland (March 3, 4) Manchester O2 Apollo (6, 7) London Troxy (9, 10)

Tour should be good, bit a bit strange to see them play to 2000 people, the last time I saw them was when they did 3 nights at Heaton Park to 210,000. The b-side from the first single made its way onto YouTube today too. Its a cover but sounds really good, I like it more than BTL. Offers something really different again. You can hear it here..... www.youtube.com/watch?v=cea5wUDVZBg
