They've released a song off their currently untitled third album and its great! Free download off 'Sunday' for anyone who wants it off their main website... www.theviewareonfire.com/And they're just made a brand new forum similar to this one, but no-where near as good ! www.theviewareonfire.com/forum/

Good news, always liked their stuff. As for their forum, what can I say! Although official forums are usually bog standard they always end up getting a lot of members

Currently touring in small venues trying out some of the new songs before the big venue album tour due next year. Was at The Lemon Tree in Aberdeen for the first night of this mini- UK tour and glad to report that the new stuff is very catchy and The View were definitely on fire!

Some guy I follow on twitter said the venue they were playing was only half full, the band were almost squaring up to each other because they were screwing up the new songs, which he said sounded awful. Not the most optimistic review ever but I still reckon they're class and should be seeing them in Manchester in a few weeks.

Certainly wasn't Aberdeen - it was packed with locals and Dundonians - usual mental time - bit of a strange encore but I think they changed that pretty quickly after The Lemon Tree. The fans voting for songs on their forum was a great success - Gem of a Bird and Up the Junction cover went down a storm. See they have announced some dates for March 2011 to launch the new album too. How was the Manchester gig?

It wasn't amazing but I think that was just because of the shitty atmosphere of the event, XFM, as it was loads of different bands but I enjoyed myself and the new songs sound top. Will go see them in March.
