Documents for a DVD

Any "Documentation" you post from 1st November - 30th November will be counted as an entry into The Great iTunes DVD Giveaway.


This is a place in the forum I really want to develop, we only have 2 sub-boards at the moment, and so the more different posts the better.

However, I prefer quality over quantity every time, if you have a ticket, flyer, poster, newspaper/magazine article, setlist or whatever, then I'd hope you would submit a high quality scan over a taking a photograph.

Maybe you have some gig photographs? Get them in!
It would be nice to have a really good collection on the forum.

The more posts you make, the more content we will gather and the more posts you make the more chance you will have at winning.


Posting your Scans/Photographs

• Keep your posts separate, so if you have a ticket scan and a newspaper article, make a thread for each one, as they will count as separate entries
  
  
• Don't put your high quality images in your post; they will be too big (loading times will be slow when viewing)
  
  
• Upload your images/files to a filesharing site (e.g. MediaFire) and post links to them
  
  
• Adding a thumbnail of your image(s) as the link would be advantageous to your entry.
  
  
• Your post should include details of your item(s) e.g. gig date/location
  
  
• Refer to the similar existing posts to see how your post should be structured, e.g. the subject title would be like this; [2009-03-10] O2 Academy, Liverpool (Echo Review)

Rules/Guidelines

• 4 DVD's up for grabs
  
  
• Remember to post in the appropriate sub-board, so a gig photo will go in "Photographs", a newspaper review in "Magazines & Newpapers" etc
  Anything that doesn't fit into a sub-board should be posted as a new thread within the main "Documentation" board
  
  
• Closing date for all competitions/contest is Tuesday 30th November 2010 - Any entries posted after this date will not be accepted
  
  
• An extra "winning entry" will be added to the Raffle if any of these become void

No entries yet?? Surely you lot have got loads of tickets, flyers, posters, newspaper/magazine articles & setlists lying around in your bedrooms

If you have then your missing out on getting your name down for a chance of winning a DVD.
The more things you post the more entries you will have, just remember to post everything separate.

Finally I've started to add my own collection, a few tickets and some flyers so far but I've got some more to add.

The way I posted them is what I'm looking for really; A nice title so the thread is sorted in date order and the post will have whatever info at the top followed by a smaller image of the item & when clicked it will take you too a high quality scan.
