This contest is a bit more complicated and techy than the rest but I'm hoping with the solitary DVD up for grabs will bring in a decent entry.
Do you think you could help the forum with your coding skills?
Well, I did have a go at some of the boards myself but they are pretty simple (S&C Catalogue, Review Panel), so I'm looking for a fancy way of displaying some areas of the forum.
Just look at these boards; Discography, Gigography, Lyrics and Guitar Tab... pretty dire aren't they
They could all be displayed a whole lot better.Imagine just going into the Discography and there’s a nice scroll down table of releases, in date order, click them to expand and you see the tracklisting, it would be fantastic!
Could also work for Gigography; maybe a list of years, expanded to dates, then the setlist and include things for images of tickets, posters, videos, reviews etc
The Lyrics board maybe could be split into releases or albums, which again could expand, also want something for alternative versions where the lyrics have changed or something.
Don't know how to approach the Guitar Tab but the current system of sub-boards isn't very good
So, if you’re already into this coding game, I'm sure it's all pretty straightforward.
A few techy things about the forum; css/html/javascript can be used within a board page (where you see sub-boards), sub-boards/headings can be hidden away but too many graphics will slow down the board.

- An extra "winning entry" will be added to the Raffle if this becomes void
