The Wombats - Tokyo (Vampires & Wolves)
I never thought the day would come when I would be raving about this band, but here it is and they have produced an undeniable tune. The band being described are The Wombats, with their comeback single Tokyo (Vampires and Wolves). Now don't get me wrong, I'm not their biggest fan at all, but this song may have changed my mind. With a synthy feel, similar to many artists of late, the song is based mainly around the thundering chorus which will be a live singalong for years to come, if they're still around. With a catchy rhythm and melody throughout, the song builds up to the climax when the music stops, and the chorus explodes into action. I personally love this song, I don't think they're a superb band, but they have a superb song and the results of their upcoming album will be interesting.
