am knew to all this writing and stuff would really like to start writing some poems after reading all the stuff on here any advice on were to start nice one.

the best thing to do is just practice, and try new things. not everything needs to be a masterpiece so if you feel a piece isnt going brilliantly you should finish it anyway. read some of the poetry on here or anywhere. remember it doesnt have to rhyme at all. and remember poetry only has to mean something to you and everyone else comes second. you have to be selfish with it and the opinions or feelings you convey.
