York Fibbers (small venue in York) is currently undergoing a refurb & they've just announced that The Courteeners will be playing there as part of the relaunch.
The gig is on Friday 3rd September apparently. Although looking at the tour dates, the lads are in Berlin the day before (2nd), so quite tight timescales!
Definitely be trying for tickets!

got my tickets for this bang on 9 o clock!!! i know i asked campbell for a northern gig at the itunes thing but i never expected this!! unbelievable a hometown gig for me!! thank you boys just made my year!!! GOD BLESS THE BAND!!!

www.fibbers.co.uk/ get on, not on sale at other ticket agents, (not that i've seen) the place has been closed for a re-vamp, small venue, will be a class gig, hardly any online advertising for the gig for some reason, and york is quality place for a few pints before

its now up on the courteeners website etc, strange it wasn't up before the tickets went on sale, by eck, so i will see you all in far off places....york, n' keep away from them sheep, leave that to the locals

Seems like there are some more tickets available for this if you're quick enough. I went through ticketmaster but it directed me to ticketweb. Shame i've already got plans though so can't attend!
