It's good to get time to see S&C after my sort of break but haven't things changed! I find 2 staff members (and seasoned members) have walked  Can't believe it but maybe that's the way things go when the boss isn't around??  I'm going to start getting back into the swing of things over the next few weeks and hopefully fix anything that's is broke, as it does seem the cracks are starting to appear  It would be a shame to let this place die, I thought you lot could plod on alone with the staff we had but it seems I was wrong. I'll have to look for some new staff very soon as well a few updates and that.... got to get read up on what I've missed too as I've not been listening to any music really... Bet I've missed loads of sessions?? Loads to catch up on and with the festival season approaching again it will be a busy time in the life of The Courteeners, so hopefully we can bring back the community spirit and get this place running smoothly again. Let me know your problems, thoughts, questions or anything about the forum and we can work together... Long live S&C! |

Think you liked the forum a lot more when you wasn't a mod Luke?? Does that sound right? Up to you if you still like/want the job like but there will be less stress on you when I back on form |

wasnt really fond of people telling me to "get a life" or similar comments for being on a forum...on a forum.
nothing to do with me being a mod really, theres not that much to do aside from moving threads around and deleting the spam. so happy to do that.
dont think ants coming back.
edit: the thread to look at is the "third album" one. alot of people (myself included) said stupid things in there but sean got a lot of flak for nothing at all.

yeah still not sure what their problem was, but it seems to be just a certain few. admittedly there's not been a lot going on in courteener land so maybe that's why it's not been as lively as it has been in the past but as you say i'm sure with festivals round the corner it will pick up more  |

Yeah been reading that thread... and to suggest that you need to get a life when they 'don't know you' are ridiculous, why do people think by being involved in a forum that you can't possibly have any other interests or be active! Anyway, it was just another thread to blow some steam I think... I hope... don't want everyone leaving us. Glad you came back though I will be coming on here to catch up with things etc and then get back to sorting out any glitches (seen some structural problems). |

Yeah shame about Ant & Dec (ha) they were long standing active members around here but the show must go on... As it's been said were here for the music as well as supporting The Courteeners! It's good that we have banter and not to take ourselves too seriously. Maybe things can be lost in a messageboard/forum sometimes, they can be misunderstood, it can be hard to show your personality and that... Anyway, I'm waffling now  Let's try and just get back to normality |

Haven't been on in a few weeks, but now random people seem to be way more agressive and ready to have a go at the slightest thing!
I thought things had been a bit quiet recently, but then I guess the Courteeners haven't done much recently either...

I've slowly been getting back into forum 'life' last week, still got a lot of reading to do, a lot of threads to catch up with... Just can't figure out the problem with the forum structure, I'll try and explain For example, I click on the board heading "General Chat" One day all the threads titles will be displayed correctly all same sized lines. Then another day the threads titles are squeezed into it's box with the icon box (1st box) being ridiculously oversized?!?! Anyone else get this problem? |
