One I found of yours from September time, when we were doing themed weeks. Good stuff

A little selfishness is nothing new,
especially when it comes from you,
there was a time, you were my friend,
you brought that to a painful end,
we had troubles now you see,
as you dug through our history,
tripped me up and beat me to it,
i couldve been quicker i will admit,
but you were never meant be,
because she always wanted me,
a heavy blow to an obese ego,
i still felt criminal and you the hero,
then i remembered i saw it first,
and my feelings are swifly reversed,
we gave you nightmares from your dreams,
just because you never heard her screams,
it haunts you that you couldnt please her,
and it rattles through your subconcscious,
inspiring snide comments and viscious rumours,
but im kinda glad because id much sooner,
be on the recieving end of them,
than be a conspirator of such flem,
but what gets you mad,
its fucking sad, you excuse for a lad,
your ego will never be shrouded in stealth,
for you will never love anyone more than yourself.

Another from the themes in september

you've flown the roost,
heading for a greener plain,
you'll use any old excuse,
when love begins to wain,
and the idea of coming out of cave,
is one that makes me afraid,
i wonder if i'll behave?

its hard to make the most of it,
with this chain around my neck,
i gain your trust as you lose your kit,
i sit inside and read,
while they go inside you,
and satisfy the greed.

i wont be held down by this,
you wont always be there,
like 17 pints of guinness,
yes liam fray, i can play guitar,
when it comes to fun,
this should take me far.

there could be utopia over this hill,
but we'll always choose dystopia,
and a cheap thrill.

it strikes me strongly,
that we should be so afraid,
of that which is guaranteed,
of that which is certain,
as surely as we take our first breath,
we eventually take in our last,
how did we become so afraid of death?
in our minds this fear has been cast,
the sorrow caused by reminiscing,
completely devoid of sense,
the memories are better than reality,
and this reality is completely dense,
with all the disappointments of truth,
and the ideals we accept without proof.

Im missing you more every day
I know that the pain has gone away
but Ive obviously simply gone numb
to think anything else would be verging on dumb
I know I havent written in the last fortnight
but its not because issues are coming to light
its just getting harder to find the time
its just getting harder to find the right rhyme
to make you feel better but Im still here
to quash your worries and harrying fear
and Im sure that you'll be happy to know
its getting better for me everywhere that I go
dont worry cus we're not growing apart
things are going to get better; love you from the heart.
