I really don't rate Lady Gaga.

Style over Substance best describes her.
Her music is no better than Britney Spears, Beyonce, Christina Aguilera, Rihanna etc.
She seems to think of herself as an oddball outsider, who's not like everbody else.
It all looks fake to me, not genuine at all.
Her music tops the charts purely because of Heat Magazine, Crocodile Tears and Publicity Stunts.
People started taking her serious once she played the Piano on Television a few times.

I'm not gonna all out and say I love her but she's alright! I think the man himself, Liam Fray summed her up best saying that shes a proper popstar.

Music is pretty manufactured and shes a bit crazy, I'd rather pop be like that than people like Jedward but I'll stick to my guitar tunes thanks.

People need to understand the gays love her. Their is a huge market for her. She will be around for ages I am sure. I work in the TV industry where alot of gay people work. So many of them went to see her at places like G.A.Y and her latest tour. She is a gay icon and while she continues to be she will be huge.

She also plays instraments. I dont like her music, but in her defence I have only ever heard one or two songs of hers. I didnt like them, but at GLastonbury (waiting for either Bruce Springsteen or Bloc Party to come on) she performed very well. Fair play to her. There is alot worse out there than her. Get rid of them first.

fair enough, she does abit of simple piano here and there. doesnt mean im impressed. she also writes her own tunes, but when they are as loathsome as hers its not exactly something to dance about. without getting to moraly and deep, i also think shes a bad influence.

I can't stand her and I hate the fact that everywhere you go her music is played, went to Jam House in Birmingham the other week which is owned by Jools Holland and there's live music all night so we where looking forward to it as a change from the standard music played at student nights around town and then the band who up until this point had played some absolute bangers decided to get up and play Lady Gaga, at which point I retreated to the bar
I don't get the deal with her, although to her credit despite her being desperately cringey and having terribly strange choice in clothes, she is one of few artists of her type that still write music for both herself and other singers and also can play a slight tune on a piano (which is more than can be said for a lot of artists in the charts these days)

she co-writes with her producer. she probably comes up with the idea then he/she puts it together.
