Hardly rock'n'roll though is it, giving the award to the audience at the Brit Awards, made up of bank managers, coked up models and the like. Thought it were embarassing, he's doing no favours to himself really is he. He were only young when Oasis kicked off and quite insecure and not sure of himself, I think he never learnt to hack it and thus has never grown up and only became a bigger caricture of himself. Sad really

Disagree, Liam Gallagher has a no nonsence attitude and is constantly misunderstood. What did he do wrong? He thanked all members of the band at the time, apart from Noel, who he has fell out with, which isn't a shock. People are too easily offended by what he does, he was always positive about Oasis' music, even Be Here Now, whilst Noel was slagging it off. Even now he looks forward to releasing new music with his new band. Cool as.

It didn't do him any favours, quite the opposite really... so what? Liam Gallagher adds a little spice to the bore of any Awards show. A question on everybodies mind is, 'oh no, whats he going to do' , which personally i think is a pretty good thing, how can having everybody sat on the edge of their seat not be a good thing. He's predicatble and unpredicatble all at once, and maybe he hasnt learned to hack the fame side of things.
Brightened things up anyway.

Fergal put it best. I admire his greatly as a singer, when he sings he's got on of the best voices in rock, but he really needs to pull himself together sometimes. Acts such a tool, like what is he trying to achieve? Not thanking Noel, even though it Noels talent that got them there, it's just petty not thanking.

They've always been petty to each other, just that Liam comes out worse because he is not the songwriter. A lot of brothers behave in peculiar ways to each other, it's just that Liam & Noel are high profile Rock stars.

Yeah, agreed, Weller would not do that, but why does everyone feel the need to monitor and comment on his 'behaviour'. You'd think he'd slept with W. Bridge's missus haha.

If he's the representive of the band who's had the best album of the past 30 years then he can do whatever the f*ck he wants. The Brits are a joke and fair play to him. What's Peter Kay achieved to have a pop at him for doing what he did?

So because he was part of a great album, he can do what he wants? No, he can't. He is like 40, he's going grey, and quite frankly sometimes it seems as if he's the mental age of my little sister and the brain capacities of a rabbit. He's a fucking great singer, fucking amazing, but forgetting that, he simply needs to grow up. Couldn't give a shit if he does or not, but for his own sake, because he's just embarrassing himself.

the brits are boring. all music awards ceremony's are becoming boring. the 'music' they reward is all manufactured rubbish. on the highlights on bbc, i saw lady gaga blubber and croon away thanking this and that, same with those puffs from JLS and then Florence, and don't get me started on dizzee rascal. I'm not a huge fan of Gallagher's (apart from his dress sense i must admit), and once again he acted like a moron, but at least it was different, unpredictable and unique. Fair play.
