looks like its not just the touts that got extra tickets, people claiming on ebay there "we got extra tickets to sell on to fellow courteeners fans" what cunts, all those people that got turned away and they are making money out of them, times are hard I guess
Because of how unique this gig is, even the 'fans' are taking the opportunity to make as much money out of it as they can
Thinking about it, if I was in the same position, you can see the logic, queue up from 5, two tickets per person, one for me sell the other to get a free gig
Should have been like the HMV wristband, 1 per person, yeah people may have wanted tickets for others but it should have been the people actually there who got tickets

One ofvthe people sellin advertised the fact on facebook an I replied saying the same as you, it's not for the fans it's for cash, simple. If it was for the fans it would be buy it now for about fifty quid..... But I have bid so I can't say anything, I'm desperate an got offered one ticket yesterday for 70 quid!!!!

If I'd have got 2 an my mate couldn't go I'd sell it for cheap.
Didn't realise it was cash only, so only had enough for me an not my mate.

set off at 5.25am yesterday, pickin up fellow chaps off these very pages, got to the venue bout 6.30am, roughly 20 people at the door, so we were happy at that, then the wait, bloody cold, but banter was quality, and time went by fairly quick. my partner by the way thinks i'm mental... and she may have a point, however this should be a top gig, and well worth the aborted saturday morning....

Was a freezing morning, dead happy to get a ticket though. Just incase you lot are putting 2 and 2 together with the Blackburn Ebay thing....I have sold my spare ticket to my Dad. Got down to the venue at 6.30, well worth it.
Found it a bit weird that there wern't many S & C people knocking around on Saturday....but early morning queuing seperates the men from the boys.
For everyone that is going, have a top night.....Its going to be a good'n.

Aye, were a good morning really, good laugh and that, very happy and relieved to have my tickets. And yes, whoever from Blackburn has posted the tickets on eBay it isn't me, quite interested to see who else from Blackburn got tickets though as it happens! Didn't see many familiar faces in the queue. Dec's right, the cold and the early mornings do seperate the men from the boys though understandably many people can't make it and that. Can't wait for that night though like

fans ripping off fans Good Times..... Says alot doesn't it, business has killed music, and as far as I'm concerned it will never be resurrected. I'm all for paying for things that are worth it, but to quote Beefheart: "I don't want to sell my music, I'd like to give it away, because where I got it, I didn't have to pay for it." Great quote, and is true in circumstances like ripping people off.
