Arguably the best singer in pop is back with a new band and a new tune, Richard Ashcroft. New tune called "Are You Ready." Thoughts? It's more of an Ian Brown direction I'd say, but does it very very well, I like it. i dont get why hes gone solo (again), this sounds alot like a verve tune if im honest.
he has as good a voice as ever but i dont like it. ive warmed to alot of ian browns stuff but that simply wont happen here.

I can see the similarities with Ian Brown. I like this song alot and agree that his solo work is very underrated.

because i dont see any creative shift, if he had personal reasons then fair enough, shouldnt have cashed in in the first place.
