right darren, i agree that to suggest that this isnt just a hobby (a very time consuming one) was out of line, but seriously man, just get yourself here! you can make excuses every time you go, i know its totally different but my mrs is getting a cheap christmas present cus of this gig.
dont be annoyed mate, we just want you there.

hey, i've burned a few gig partners out over the years, and the last one - chippy, has moved to the other side of the world, to get a rest from me draggin him to gigs, i understand feeling a bit odd about goin on yer own, but when you get into the gig your not, your with people that are into the same sounds as you, so go for it, and next friday will be a special night, a sell out at the g-mex is a mighty fine achievement with no new material out yet, shame if you missed it.....

I agree with Wrighty on this one, it'd be a shame if you couldn't go but you've got the tickets and there's no shame in going to a gig on your own. There's a lot of us on here who were up for knocking about with you before and after the gig, if I were you I'd just go for it, Lord knows it would be the first time!

Please everyone, I appreciate the things your trying to do to get me there but I really do have to sell them... no if's or but's... it's just not possible. Nothing to do with going on my own either, I'm 33 yer know I'm a big boy now  Please no more scheme's or threads of how to get me there, not being hard faced or ought, just want to get over it now.
