I'm reserving judgement on this until more details are "out". Having met Ian Brown a few times I'd find it very suprising if its true. He is quite possibly the most genuine and nicest 'celebrity' i've had the pleasure of talking to.

Arrogant and confidence are two completely different things, people confuse those words far too much these days. And I'd be very suprised if, going off what I know of Ian Brown, he did beat up his wife, there seems to be absoloutely nothing in the police release to suggest this. Childish comments such as yours Sean don't help things, don't be so quick to believe exactly what Mother Media tells you

but what do you know of ian brown? f*ck all.
dont be so quick to believe exactly what Fanboyish Insticnt tells you.
he may write some pretty sweet but clichey songs these days but he still does give off these vibes. im at the age where i can ignore them but you can F U C K right off calling seans comments childish. he IS a child. get real. and you call him childish. know better ferg lad.

In all fairness to Sean, Mr Brown does have form for threats on women. Not to mention his big fat neanderthal head, that would keep a dickensian phrenologist in work for months.
Send that chimp down your honour

obviously we don't know half the story, but i was hardly shocked when i heard it. I love Ian Brown and the Roses, and i'm proud of the fact they went to my school, but the man does come across as a coward, having seen him and his band punch and kick a guy who was on the floor.
