What is your reasoning behind it being 'not surprising'?
wife beating is unacceptable but what makes ian brown more likely to do it? Do all the bands/artists you don't like beat up their wives/girlfriends?

i do like some songs of his but i just read some interviews and got a bad vibe really, plus i think he looks like a chav. might be stereotypical but still.

I think it's stupid to say it isn't suprising, you'd hardly look at him and go "Oh yeah, wife beater". We don't really know what's happened yet, I'm reserving judgement until more comes out, but if he has done then I've lost a great deal of respect for the man, it's a vile thing to do. Like I said though, I'm waiting until more comes out, could have just been a domestic/argument that didn't involve violence, it was the neighbours who complained after all, so it's hard to say anything now really isn't it. Disgusting if he has though.
And Sean, I'm with Mike on this one, you need to think and grow up sometimes.

dont be too harsh fergal, hes only a young one. he doesnt really look like a wife-beater persay, looks like a druggy though, hollow cheeks.

He must have been doing charlie sinse he was 25 then!!! Hes always looked like that. Granted hes always smoked far to much weed but I dont think he would do anything else.
As for leathering his wife, I doubt it. The argument could have got heated. He's not a fighter and for the record chavs dont write songs like sally cinamon!!

been arrested for supposedly beating up his wife, not surprising really. what a stupid comment to make. we'll have to wait and see what happens on the legal side of things, but i give my full support to ian brown.....innocent until proven guilty in my eyes. nobody benefits from moronic comments suggesting that ib is like that. listen to his music, gain some knowledge and an understanding of what he's like.....then judge. |
