bit annoyed at the likes of mr hudson, lily allen and lady gaga getting one because theyre all crap. white lies deserve it i'd say, as do kasabian. maybe the arctic monkeys thing would bring up some debate as they've been canned as live performers on here.

meh just cus its not our genre doesnt mean theyre not deserving i guess =/. i definitely dont think white lies are best new band (if they are we are in trouble) and arctic monkeys got muses award cus muse got best act in world, which is probably ott.

well what it was up against in general, there was uprising and fire which are easily better tunes. white lies weren't really up against anyone and i think theyre quality anyway |

I still haven't seen arctic monkeys live so can't say really but from what I've heard they are hit and miss
Im really not much of a white lies fan either surely there is a better new band?

i could obviously list some i prefer but that would be moot. arctics live are good but at leeds headlining i think they were out of their depth a little.

as headliners mate. courteeners were not playing an album full of new material untested and were not hyped up in the same way.

i think i can only remember competition being the dead weather and passion pit for best new band. i like passion pit a lot but i like white lies more so i voted for them.
