they just dont appeal to me as much, dont think they can sound the same as a boy really. i know but i just thought it was a bit jazzy hmmm i understand thats its harder to relate to a girl singer. but karen-o manages it as has been mentioned. the issue for me with girl singers is they get all feministic and defensive and it leads to throwing tampons into a crowd (fact). that said, i would marry laura marling and live in a hut. |

but i just think that most girls just sound like whining brats or they have massive soul voices so it never really works with this type of music. the only girl singers i can think of that i like are diana vickers, florence & the machine and a couple of yeah yeah yeahs songs.

well i saw her wikipedia picture so i dont know how much i gather by that, and i do have 1 studio version of diana vickers - jumping into rivers  i love it. |
