Quality band, I've actually fallen in love with them. Their names being thrown around a lot and they really are top. Influences include The Smiths and Joy Division. If you like then they're the free iTunes single of the week for those who use it, and are playing two gigs in Manchester next week. Both of which I'm too young for And for those who defy iTunes, here's a link to their record label page which has 3 free tracks. rcrdlbl.com/search/the+drums

come to the conclusion that while the tunes are good, as a live band they are bad in the same way that britney spears is bad, its all backing track and miming

i did read that in the review in nme? or it might've been q :/ don't know. but yeah i heard that it sounded suspiciously like a backing track or miming but still, think the tunes are great and most of their gigs have got good reviews.

My mate has seen them a few times and keeps recomending that I see them live at some point. They haven't really captured me with any of the songs I've heard so far.

I'm goin that Sean, sorry to rub it in like.
Not heard any of their stuff really, but my mates love em so thought it'd be good.
But for 6 quid, any gigs would be worth going to really.
