This is the first of many weeks (I dear hope) that I can start a topic queing many replies
The basic ideas from this week on, is that I think of something for people to write about, and you all contibute.
Though I do write alot of personal stuff, I have found something which I hope everyone can write about, this is still my favourite thing that I've written, the topic is:
HAUNTING SOMEONE FOR SOMETHING THEY'VE DONE
Get writing....
You think you can stub me out,
Like an old cigarette,
Kick me out of your life,
Nothing more than a silhouette,
You think the thoughts won’t haunt you,
But you can’t leave the truth alone,
You hear the sirens ringing,
But all you’re hearing is the phone,
You can’t just let it ring,
You don’t have an answer phone,
You’re worried about who’s at the other end,
Well it’s me and I want to come home,
You can tear up the pictures from the album,
But the images will still remain,
You’ll see me in your sleep,
And ponder whether you are still sane,
2 O’clock in the early morning,
You hear the phone ring,
Will you answer to an angel?
Or will you hear death sing?
The truth seems to delve too deep,
Into what was our past,
Now the past is yours,
I hope this haunting lasts,
Let the memories linger,
And you shall not sleep for weeks,
Try to wipe them out,
And the ghosts will only speak,
Whispers from your conscience,
And whispers from your friends,
When will I leave your room?
When will this nightmare end?
I told you that to disappear,
Wasn’t the wisest choice,
I said I’d remain in every thought you provoked,
And every word spoken by your voice,
I’ll be there forever,
I hope you dwell on your regrets,
All that you knew is now in stone,
And in stone it will now set.
