I know there's a Hilton Hotel very close because I stayed there for a school media thing and I could see the gmex through the window. That's a problem for me too getting the train back. My uncles got a flat in Manchester though so I might ask him if I can stay there the night :/

Sure you can get a refund on the train tickets, as long as it's done in advance but check on that... yeah you've got to sell the Browny tickets man So what time do you think the gig will finish? Don't know if I can get home the same night so I may have to book a room as well. Refunded the train tickets although they've charged me £10 for the liberty. And i've already sold two of my three Ian Brown tickets for face value. Looks like i'm going to see The Courteeners on Friday the 11th and will get to see Ian Brown on Thursday the 10th. Glorious.

Oh just seen in the paper they're going to be 19.50. So probably with post and processing charge and 23 quid.

£19.50 for a band with 1 album, big prices. Hearing the same set of songs that i have paid anything from £6 to the more recent £15 to hear. Once fees get involved, it will be getting into the price ranges that MEN arena bands charge. Its a lot of money for your average man on the street, you could pay about 4 quid more and could go and see acts like ian brown or kasabian that have stacks of tunes and a few solid albums. Obviously im still going to pay the 23 quid, that was never in doubt.

Price doesn't bother me either I'll still pay it. I payed 7 quid more to see Kasabian at Wembley so yeah I know what you mean, worth it though.

The price won't bother many, but you have to put it in perspective. With Buzzcocks on the bill, that might have pumped the price up a few quid. I wonder how Buzzcocks feel supporting Courteeners?
