The Rascals split up

Miles Kane has gone solo so the band split up, they were a good band.

cus his name got bigger than the rascals i think. its always a shame when a band breaks up but he'll still be around.

did see an interview with alex and matt where alex said they'd probably do another after miles was finished with the rascals cos they were making an album. so the split took me by suprise a bit, yeah it'll be interesting

Yer I heard quite a few new tracks they were trying out for a new rascals album.

I do like the rascals, seen them a few times live, met Miles, but I never thought they fulfilled their potential. Always felt they could and should have done more. Not really suprised by this to be honest.

I didn't think the album was bad but it only got to 100 in the charts so that could've caused a bit of tension.

im fair gutted to be honest, i liked rascals. saw em at ruby lounge at the christmas eve party thing, top night. they have some tunes, pretty strong album.

personally, i'd rather hear/go to see the rascals than last shadow puppets in 09/10. not sure what miles kane will do now, he'll prob just write songs using the other 2 rascals members as session musicians but it will all go under the name of miles kane.

yeah he's apparently recording solo but i read the band were looking for a new singer to carry on the band but imo its never the same once you take the singer out of the band.

they had fantastic potential, especially with that initial EP, but the album just never made the grade in my book. shame, but not wholly unforseen :/
