Which 'lecture' of Gervais was this Sean?
I am going to see Bombay Bicycle Club Monday week in an intimate acoustic gig in East London. 150 people going. My mate won tickets and its fre drink. Probably going to get out of hand. Should be good.

Ricky Gervais is fantastic, absoloute master. Just got back from watching 'Cemetery Junction', really recommend it. Amazing really, conquered the world of television, radio, podcasts, stand up and film with masterpieces in each, huge respect for him (and Stephen Merchant, the unsung hero).

Science, think it was a warm up for the Wembley and Madison Square Garden stuff really but still pretty funny. Support act wasn't bad either, the Canadian guy from Mock The Week.

Recently booked Diana Vickers and just now booked Noah & The Whale. Getting tickets to see The View on Saturday, they've just announced a show at Delamere Forest, not far from me.

I saw BOmabay Bicycle CLub last week doing their acoustic set showcasing the new album. Sounds good (from what I could hear of it).
The sound was awful. People were literally shooshing each other to be quiet so we could hear the band. The speakers were not working so if anyone spoke you couldnt hear anything. It was like being read a bedtime story. Such a weird experience. COuldnt see anything either. Even though their was only 150 people there the venue was shit with too many pillars in the way. COuldnt see a thing.

Mumford & Son - Glasgow O2 Academy - 1st Oct Frank Turner - Aberdeen Lemon Tree - 1st Dec F.Rabbit - Glasgow Barrowlands - 4th Dec
Quiet end to the year but hoping that there are still a few tours in the pipeline that haven't been announced yet. Undecdided if I will venture to Edinburgh at the end of November to see Vampire Weekend who were on good form at TiTP this year. Hoping to see Langhorne Slim and hopefully The View will be touring (or at least previewing) their new stuff around Christmas time.
