Went to see Exit Calm the other night at Moho, Clint Boons night,
from his twitter "Last night I watched one of the greatest gigs I've ever seen. Exit Calm. Incredible! xxx"
made my day that, and he's started plugging them too so hopefully they'll get some recognition.
Next Gig = Marling then Johnny Flynn. Though exit calm are playing Liverpool monday so I might nip home, and then kip over an watch that.

i follow him on twitter too, everyones raving about them. got a couple of tracks, haven't given them a proper listen yet but they sounded average. we'll see.

Went to see the Arctic Monkeys in their members and friends gig last night in the Shepherds Bush Empire. Was brilliant. The best I have seen them in a while.
I love that venue, its really quite small. Really intimate. They palyed the whole of Humbug in order 1-10 and then went off before returning to play about 6 b-sides. Amazing.
Alex was on great form as well. Bit of banter. During Nick Caves Red RIght Hand he went on his knees during the solo and wacking his guitar against Jamie Cooks. Jumping onto the raised level for Helders Drums. Dedicating Potion Approaching to a bald security guard.
Spoke to Miles Kane again, only briefly this time, and saw James Ford.
Top gig.

I saw them at Blackburn last night, put on a top show.
Fucking hell man. Gutted! That's bad, remember the Green Cross Code next time you cross a road yeah?
