I think I know what The Courteeners have been doing... looking at S&C!! I'm sure it'll be them but I've got the google analytics set up for S&C and it tells me everything from location, browsers, language, most viewed pages etc etc blah blah blah... Belgium has come up showing 78 separate visits from Brussels!! It's got to be them! Hey, lads give us some demos....pleeeease  |

Going off topic (soz daz) got a heart tattoo on my foot two stars one shaded in and one out on the front of my shoulder and a flower on my wrist. The next one is gonna be a biggy on my ribs and back! been planning!!! |

I get that now Daz, at a second read, yeh, can almost guarentee that it's them, think they must come on here a fair bit no matter where they are. Checking up on my fine poetry no doubt Demos will be nice, won't happen, staying pesimistic about it, perhaps when the album is all done we may get a few on myspace or something |

I agree with those words, I'd rather just hold out for the proper recordings.
On their myspace they've changed their influences, makes another interesting read and a few nice references to people and things...anyone got the old list of influences saved by the way?

I kind of disagree though, yeah early versions and that can be hard to make out sometimes but I do like to hear how the song progresses from demo to master and appreciate all the little changes.

id rather wait for the real thing then hear demo's, so then you can still hear the difference, and darren it could be someone going on S&C using a proxy, and it just came from brussels, but well leave it at the lads coming on.

Why does anyone want demos anyway?
Just wait for the real thing, i'm sure we won't be disappointed. Put your faith in the band to deliver.
By not hearing demos, it'll make it more exciting around the time of the release.

Bet you weren't saying all this when you had demos for St. Jude, I would like to hear a demo, bet loads of us would, but I'm not suprised at all that we aren't getting any, I'm impatient anyway, I hate waiting, so demos would be nice, knew it wouldn't happen though.

it was different with st jude though, because it was the 1st album....
there were initial recordings of songs + cavorting, acrylic and wtysl singles and their b-sides.
there had to be initial recordings, otherwise nobody would know the songs or have an urge to go and see them when an album wasn't out.
