I went to this yesterday, absoloutely superb day. Wheel and Free Peace weren't that good in my eyes but the Enemy got the crowd going, Kasabian were immense and Oasis were unreal, everything was perfect, set list, Liam's voice, crowd atmosphere, completely non hostile. Got in Front Pit as well which was a relief, couldn't hack standing at the back near the Pie and Mash stall...

haha loved Noel's comment on the pie and mash, 'any southerners here?, needs changing to chips and gravy'
I got in the front pit too.....just......weren't many wrist bands left when I got mine, the set up was mega if you managed to get in at the front, would have been shit behind them barriers
Surprised they did roll with it cos noel hates that song but I think Liam must have got his way with that, got the crowd goin
Agree about wheel, their tunes don't really suit that kinda gig
I hate the enemy but their better songs were good, the newer ones were absolute bollocks, something bout oil drums? loada shite
Kasabian were friggin phenomenal, could easily have been headliners if it were in leicester
And Oasis......well couldn't ask for more they were great, loved the inclusion of half the world away but they should play more of the masterplan! f*ck off to be where theres life for at least headshrinker or stay young etc

what a weekend, went to both saturday & sunday. saturday i didnt get into front pit as arrived to late, & couldnt see the stage that well so was watching it on the screens. Sunday was a different story though, got there at 2 & in the front pit. freepeace have some great music, although i doubt wether it will ever catch on. highlight seemed to be when the camera zoomed in on him he had a halo (coke bogey)!! i thought twisted wheel nailed it, really enjoyed their set. enemy were ok, kasabian different league. Underdog is a massive tune! Oasis were mindblowing, the best ive ever seen them.Im bruised all over, lost my voice & got the shits but thats the results of a good time! excellent value for money.

the beer was shite, and it came at a nasty price aswell. £3.50 for the worst pint of your life! hardly any queues which was good tho.
