I don't want to sound elitist about music or a knob or awt, but recognising Rock'n'Roll Star is pretty basic stuff for a music fan, it's your bread and butter as far as I'm concerned. Even if you don't like it. Either way, NOW is the time to go straight out to your nearest record shop and BUY DEFINITELY MAYBE

well im not, i dont really like oasis, i mean they have some good songs but nuthing that makes me want to listen to all their songs so i recognise them when theyre played before gigs?

Yeah but honestly my fucking Mum would know Rock And Roll star and she listens to nothing but Northern Soul. I hate Muse but I could tell you if I herd a Muse song let alone one that was a massive hit say Starlight? Not knowing one of the biggest Oasis songs off all time and claiming to be a fan of music is strange to me.

aye but it probably came out before he was born. hes young and hes probably only just starting to get into music that isnt just played on rock fm. and like he said he knew the song, just not the title.

At your own pace is best, I went Beatles mad and listened to about 5 albums and the past masters, no I've stopped and moved on to The Coral, just do as you fancy, because trust me you will NEVER run out of music to listen to.
