hmm, tough one. Maybe at somepoint but i reckon it'll be a while away, he was a 'solo artist' before the courteeners, so i can't see it happening for ages.

I'm sure he has only one thing on his mind right now, and that's to go HUGE with the courteeners, but obviously unless the band stay as one forever then he is sure to go solo at one point, but not in the forseable future.

he was solo before the courteeners, and hes said himself he always wanted to do it with the band. Noel is going to do one now, mainyl because Oasis have achieved so much. if Liam did do a solo record, id hope it would be because the courteeners have achieved so much to!!

im not so sure, my mates convinced its going to happen sooner than later, but i think otherwise, the courteeners are the courteeners.

i think this would come between courteeners albums, if he has ideas he wants to do himself great but no need to drop your mates for it since the band atm is basically liams creativity anyway. think liam is abit too loyal of his mates and too grateful at them for not stifling his writing to leave them on a permanent basis.

nothing will happen any time soon, everythings goin well and they have the 2nd album on the way
will be interesting to see what happens after the second album though, probably take a break so you never know Liam might do something similar to what Turner did?
As good as Liam is solo I don't think as many people would be as interested in it as the courteeners but..............it all depends on the success of the second album
all speculation like!

If things turn sour with the band then probably, he's got the talent to do it. I can't see that happening any time in the near future though, or even the next 4 years, but you never know how things map out. Being a solo artist is a slippery road to reforming anyway, really, you're surrounded by people hired to say "Yes" and your rarely ever as popular as your band was

i think he will, theres still a long time left in the courteeners....and his solo career wont be the result of an argument with any other members. I think hel just fancy doing something a bit different later on, without the pressures of having to write another killer courteeners album! i can see it happening, but not for ages yet!

if he fancies doing something abit different he should try doin it with his band. if you want to make different tunes its no reason to leave your band, too many people miss that.

Hell I hope not. It’s a slippery slope, I’m struggling to think of a time when a soloist was better than the previous band.

your struggling because it rarely happens, they just sell average records on the back of the name they made with their band.
