I've gotta ask, out of curiosity. Why Vinyl, Years ago I purchased vinyal, back in the day before CD's and what have you. But I cant see the point, You really have to look after them very very well to get them to last, if they get too cold or too warm they warp. Everytime you play them you risk scratch the arse out of them. Dont get me wrong I love anything retro or abit different, and i'm not knocking anyone, I've got all the roses singles on cd that I got about 10 years ago and I dont want to start the debate that vinyl sounds better than cd!!

On the vinyl thing Ian, I've just an obsession and I think it does sound better but it's a matter of opinion isn't it.

I know, the enjoyment which he's going to be in for is unreal. When I was about 13 and first started listening to the Roses it was all I listened to at the time, I couldn't get my head around how good it was! I can't suggest a place to start really, there's so much great music there, perhaps just kick off with "The Stone Roses".
Is anyone else excited about the re-issue??
