Just looked at mine again and noticed Ian Brown aint on it. I was sure I wrote him.
I saw him back in 2004 I think it was. Perhaps 2005.
During the gig someone through a drink on the stage which I think hit him and mid song he stopped the band, stopped singing and ordered the person who through the drink to reveal themselves. They did and told him to f*ck off and ordered security go get him out. Was well funny. Embarrasing for the bloke involved.

I went to see him last year or the year before and some idiots started fighting mid song he stopped the song and got the lighting guys to put one of the lights on them. Security came in and got them out. He said 'don't be coming to any of my gigs if you want to F'in fight' everyone started the 'who are ya!!' chant and they where chucked out. I would have though it best to ignore it to be honest as giving idiots like that attention is what they want. It goes on at most gigs I've seen it happen right next to me at an oasis gig and nothing was done and at one courteener gig in Wolverhampton. I think in the end all concerned just got bored. It didn't really wreck the night. In fact I found it quite funny!!! But to go to a gig and cause agro with people is just daft. as for the clip on you tube that was brilliant, he needed a slap that idiot he must have thought his size would intimidate them, he just got some manc justice, It was funny seeing Ian brown giving him loads of stick and he was about 3 foot taller than him. That Indian fella with the turban on give him a right kicking. HA VIOLENCE IS BAD MMMM'KAY!!!!!!

I've seen Ian Brown 3 times now and each time he has done nothing but deliver the goods. You get morons going "Oh he can't sing anymore" but when you're there what difference does it make? He's the master of getting the crowd going and people forget how many great songs he's had as a solo artist as well as with the Roses. I'm glad he denied the reports of the Roses reforming, it'd be an insult to the legacy of both his own work and the Stone Roses themselves

The annoying thing about gigs is that you attract cunts who dont care about the music. Does my head in. I love getting involved but its all about the music for me. f**k**g nob heads.

Clone Roses are class! Far superior to the Complete Stone Roses, the Clones are the real deal. Do it proper and all, you're not a tribute band if you don't look like them. Sound identical too. It's basically the Blackpool set list but with a few Second Coming tunes i.e. Love Spreads and Tightrope

I fail to see how I'm an arsehole with the way the music played at most of the gigs I go to and the sheer amount of people it is almost always going to kick off just because I don't take shit of random people makes me an arsehole?

The comment wasn't that you're an areshole, it was that people who fight at gigs are arseholes, if you note the use of the plural form. I do agree with his points, some really good gigs I've been to have involved fights that have severely soured the atmosphere, things end up quite tense. If you're going to a gig, you should be going for the music and the good time, not to start fights. It's not needed, its not about that
