I am flying in to NYC to see the Mercury Lounge show. Does anyone know if there is an instore at a record shop set up? I don't think I will be able to wait after the show to meet the band so my only shot is if there is something set up for the public.
Thanks and I hope to see a great crowd!

I live in Atlanta, Georgia. I worked in the music biz for years and tried to use my contacts that way but everyone seems to be at a lost as to what US label they are on or going to be on. I had to order my CD online because no one in Atlanta could get it for me.
Oh well, I will keep trying.

Last night's show rocked! I must admit though the opening band Hot Melts(?) sound was better. I thought the Courteeners had a little too much going on in the mids department. I really wish I could have stayed after to meet them but maybe next time eh?

hot melts from what ive heard sound like quite an 'american punk rock' kinda band if that makes sense, bit like bowling for soup
im guessin the mids department is the middle part of the songs???
any idea what the set list for the gig was lennon08? and did they play any new songs that aren't on st.jude?
sounds like it was a good night though!

no, mids is EQ, trebley being tinny, Low being bass, and Mid being the middle frequency.
