I've not heard any of Laura Marling's new stuff, so I'll have to give it a listen & from what I've heard mentioned it's a lot more mature writing, liked her debut album, so if it's better than that, I'm missing out. Only heard of Mew, they've been around for a while haven't they? I've been listening to the usual 70's punk bands and other albums I haven't played for a while: Kasabian - S/T Hope of the States - The Lost Riots The Courteeners!! - Falcon The Stranglers - Peaches (Best of) I think The Stranglers are my favourite bands of all time now, just love their songs, the lyrics are class  |

yeah the debut Laura Marling album was quite like, quirky. the new one is very by the books but she does it so well its hard to criticise? give me a better tune than devils spoke....
mew have been around for quite a while but remain unpopluar. abit too weird.
