Agree with 'tear me apart' Darren, I love it with the organ/ keyboard thing at the end with Liam shouting the title, real buzz about it, as have all the songs we've heard!

I thought I needed a change and a bit of a break from my Courteeners/Roses/Smiths/Mozza habit!!
I've been playing a lot of Ramones & other 70's punk...in fact forgot I had The Cure albums on my HD and played the earlier one's....so so good!
Favourite tracks from my punk playlist were:
Ramones - Don't Come Close X-Ray Spex – Oh Bondage Up Yours! The Clash – Lost in the Supermarket The Damned – New Rose Big Audio Dynamite – Psycho Wing The Clash – This Is England Dead Kennedys – Too Drunk To f*ck Ramones - She's The One Buzzcocks – Orgasm Addict The Clash – Spanish Bombs Ramones – I Want You Around The Cure – Fire in Cairo Johnny Thunders & the Heartbreakers – Chinese Rocks Ramones – Needles & Pins Ramones – Baby I Love You

Nothing new for me, listened to The View 'Hats of to the Buskers' yestersday for the first time in like a year, and it sounds better than it first did, probably after an amazing second album. As for anything else, I got 'Rank' a couple of weeks ago and only just got to listen to it, pretty good I must say, particularly on Rusholm Ruffians when at the start they add a bit of 'Maries The Name (of his latest flame)' made famous by Elvis.

Totally agree. I had it on in the background and kind of guessed the way it was going when queens bo-rap was in the late 40’s or 50’s. Seems any pop-punk band with a track on rockband/guitar hero were punching well above their weight. Paramore, rock? Lol

Bo Diddley, can't get enough of him Didn't even hear of him until I got a radio session of The La's and they mentoined him, thought little of it but he's got rhythm, bit like when I got into Fats Domino, thought nothing of him but real rhythm and melody, love it.

check out bo diddleys guitar ant its a thing of beauty (or lack of)
n yeah i dont really mind the rock band/guitar hero thing but pop punk really is the invention of the devil. id prefer actual pop, at least they dont pretend to be good music.

I laughed when I saw that guitar, wonder where he left it when he kicked the bucket, wouldn't mind it myself What exactly do you mean by pop punk??

Oh christ on earth, I know what you mean now, horrible stuff it is. On the subject of pop, suppose alot of the stuff I'm into is pop really, I've always considered The La's as pop, The Beatles where, so I wouldn't use pop as an insult, but punk pop is horrible music.
