Yesterday I did set out to listen to some albums I haven't played in a while but James got in there again - up there with the roses in my eyes! Playing order: The Stones Roses - S/T The Stone Roses - The Second Coming James - The Best Of Kings of Leon - Aha Shake Heartbreak I've started this morning with Twisted Wheel, fucking class! Looks like The Courteeners will finally have some competition on my playlist  On repeat now!! Think I'll drap something else out??? Not heard The Twang in a while, I'm sure I'm the only one who likes them?? They were fucking brilliant at Glasto in errr... what year was it? Well it was a good 'en ;D Not played any Super Furry Animals in a long time either - always been one of my favourites! So that's me sorted for an couple of hours.... |

Darren, The Twang are shit. Just a bunch of 35yr old fat b*st*rd oil rigging twats. Older people who are in bands, especially shit ones piss me off. I know that a few people will agree on the whole old people thing.
Currently listening to Morrissey Greatest Hits, not listened to him enough so I gave this a go.

I know that a few people will agree on the whole old people thing. Currently listening to Morrissey Greatest Hits, not listened to him enough so I gave this a go. The "Greatest Hits" only really gives an insight into Quarry and Ringleaders (and the two singles from YOR)...I recommend the other "Greatest Hits" entitled "Suedehead" or just buy "Your Arsenal" and "Vauxhall and I" and start from there. Either way, the goods are present |

Ha ha I didn't think a mention of The Twang could cause a rook! I still don't mind them after a listen yesterday, they bring back memories of the 90's era for me... but that's how I feel  Anyway, my 'not listened for a while' theme continued yesterday with: The Libertines - Up The Bracket The Libertines - S/T Super Furry Animals - Fuzzy Logic Morrissey - Years of Refusal ...but I've drifted back to The Courteeners this morning and I'm currently listening to the B-Sides! |
