I didn't go last night but I have a friend who went ad he is lucky enough to go tonight aswell, so greedy. A rang him this morning and he was really excited for the new songs, he won't shut up about Bojangles.

This is embarassing, it really is.
Last night was superb, I'd probably say better than Friday night as well, which took some doing. Proper impressive, yet again. The new songs are stuck in my mind now, "King of Pretend" (as I'm titling it myself here and now) is proper good, one of the best things Liams wrote by the sounds of it, can't get enough.
Liam brought Miles Kane on towards the end and them two and the keyboardist (Pete isnt it?) did "There Is A Light That Never Goes Out"....absoloutely mesmerising.

It was probably the best gig ive ever been too............and i really mean that
played all the best tunes with some great new ones as well, never seen liverpool academy so mad, everyone was goin mental for nearly every song
I think your right fergal, king of pretend sounds like the title and was my favourite new track, can see it being immense with a few more listens
Bojangles was great again and "tear me apart" was class, loved the riff in it
not a clue what the 1st new song was, remember some lyric about blondie and heart of glass though haha, migt have been "you over did it doll" or one of the others Liam named in NME
Brilliant brilliant night and Miles kane coming on topped it off, I couldn't believe it was a crackin cover, hopefully they recorded it and it will be a b-side for somethin : P

had a great day yesterday, some proper good pubs, decent ale, and the courteeeners gig was the best, seriously good, an excellent atmosphere, the sound was better than friday, new songs as well., .... there is a light, i've been in heaven all weekend, already looking forward to the next courteeners disco....

Id love to go america but student loans don't really cover the cost haha

i got a few videos, tear me apart and the there is a light cover but the missus has lost the cable to connect the camera so can't do anythin with em

Gutted I missed the second night now but I saw Elbow in Blackpool and was absolutely blown away. Possibly the best gig I've been too.
