As I said, at some point work has to take priority over music, unfortunately, although it pisses me off to think that they are playing new stuff, I know that eventually I will hear them, and eventually I will see them live. Though I must admit, I feel sick knowing that some selfish shit at work wouldn't shift swap, they don't know what's coming to them.

You fucing strange bloke, why the f*ck would I make up such a stupid story, I lost 10 quid on the ticket selling it last minute on ebay. You are either joking around because you are drinking to much or you have serious problems with me. I don't think you know how pissed off I am do you, the last 2 days have been shit for me knowing that I couldn't go, I just hope the the bloke I sold it to enjoyed it as much as I would have.

I had tickets for tomorrow but also had to sell them coz Im skint. But Ive seen them about 12 times now so Im not arsed. But the whole thing smells a bit of billy bullshine to me, you cant get sacked for refusing to cover for someone, if you dont believe me ring ACAS :0) Hope anyone that went had a good night tho.

Oh and Im not having a go, but How much debt can a 17 year old possibly be in.............Its not like you can have a credit card/mortgage...................I know when i was 17 the only debt I was in was the money I was passing over the bar in the nightclubs. Ant wait till your 28 have a mortgage, car to run, insuarnaces all over the place and still try and get to gigs its an acheivement in itself, so much so I HAVE to do it, atleast once a month :0)

WOW! Ian you must have been away with the fairies last night, were you on the 'wacky backy' as well ;D Come on now people do you really think Ant would go to all the time of posting in various threads that he's going/got his ticket/the excitement/then the disappointment/selling his ticket??? No way
Anyway, how was the gig last night everyone?

Forget childish arguments and having a pop at one another through the internet, last night was what it was all about. I've seen them a very good number of times over the last 18 months and I would go as far as to say that last night was up there with the best. The band and the crowd were proper going for it, it was immense. Opened with Cavorting then straight into Acrylic, it was classique. The new tunes are sounding very (very) promising, they played 4 (including BoJangles), and you know that tune from the Ben Sherman acoustic video? They played that, and that was easily the best new tune. I think I can remember some of the lyrics and all "Are my clothes okay? Is my hair alright?" repeatedly and "You're king of the pretend", it blew me away actually, its a definate single in my eyes. Wrighty (hatfullofsmiths) and Cal Roberts both got dedications, all in all it was a proper good night, roll on tonight. Miles Kane and Len Windass from Corrie were there are also!
