I don't get why that did it to be honest me I mean look who they are associating themselves with Scouting For Girls and Alphabeat what's all that about.

Courteeners seem to be strongly linked with Channel 4 as it is, maybe theres a contract or sumat? I dont know. They did that Hollyoaks thing, and Transmission twice, and the 4Play documentary, and they've been on a few other things. Might just be a "You scratch my back, I'll scratch yours" situation |

Simon Gavin signed The Courteeners i think and hes on the panel. So i guess it was just as a favour tbh!

Aye, he signed them about Octoberish last year I believe.
He lists "Not Nineteen Forever" as one of his favourite songs of all time as well
