I was at the Friends of Mine 4th Birthday gig at the Deaf Institute on Friday to see Delphic, Gideon Conn, The KBC, Lucy & The Caterpillar and Little Comets. Just before The KBC I spotted Liam Fray and got this picture with him and my missus.  He then asked me to take a picture of him and a certain Manchester legend and asked me to MySpace the pic to him:  Quality. |

I've never met Joyce so I can't judge but Moz doesn't seem too fond of him! Let me quote "I wish him the very very worst for the rest of his life"  after Joyce took Moz and Marr to court...but who would we like if we followed who Moz had blacklisted! |

The funny thing is I didn't even recognise Joyce at first. I just saw Liam chatting and went over and asked for a pic. I said to Liam, without even looking at Joyce, 'will your mate mind taking the picture' and Liam said 'you'll have to ask him, he's in a bigger Manchester band than I am' haha. I then looked and thought shit who is that. I couldn't place the face until i got back to my spot and looked at the picture and thought 'Oh shit, i've just made Mike Joyce take a picture of me and Liam Fray' haha.

It must have been around the same time as you, as lucy had just finished!

Delphic and Gideon Conn are cool. Didnt realise Gideon was doing gigs again, he's cool, theres a top cover of Outkast sorry miss jackson that he did on youtube.

It's a "cool kid" place.
I'm convinced there is never more than 10 people there to watch the bands, everyone talks constantly and the louder the band play the louder they all talk.
