I remember someone had some canvas paintings on here a while back, anyone else into art? We all know Darren designed some great flyers and cover art. Anyone else doing things like that? Show us! ok, I'll go first. Had to design a poster (A0 size, which is.. BIG!) for artschool last week. The subject was "this is me" you were only allowed to use letters/typographic stuff. So I made a poster with a graphic of myself made out of letters. When I was finished and had a good look at it, I thought it looked a bit like the St. Jude cover. I honestly didn't do it on purpose! It's mostly because of the composition. I'm quite pleased with it. Could use some corrections, but I'll do that some other time! WOW!! MADE OUT LETTERS!!! That is amazing, never seen a picture made out of letters, I just looked at the picture at first before reading the post and it dawned on me, it's amazing.

Oh, and I forgot to mention, I think there might be a P missing from the eye, and the nose could do with a couple of D's.

Thanks for the positive comments everyone! ;D means a lot! Wasn't really sure about posting it. You never really know what kind of reactions you'll get. It's not that easy to just show your work (for me that is  ) What's that program Cal? It wouldn't be fun to cheat though, no satisfaction in that. Darren, I could help with some design stuff. Will have to see if I've got the time. School is keeping me really busy. But I would love to help. Have done loads of stuff, bit more abstract/ conceptual. It needs more explanation. Hmm I should make a portfolio site, thought about that a lot, but never got around doing it. I've also done some other portraits as well, just pencil and stuff. Posted a link on here a while back, but I think it got lost a bit. So I’ll just post it again It's Liam!  |

that's brilliant, you can even make out st jude on his chain, I have a st jude medal along with my st gerard (saint of the falsely accused) and st anthony (saint of newborn). To be honest I don't know why I have them, I've had them for years, just a good catholic I suppose.
