It didn't really came as a surprise.. But I can't say that I'm happy with the slit up. Since I just bought my ticket to see them in november in Amsterdam.. Don't think that's going to happen now.

I hope the Libertines don't reform, or at least, until Doherty gets his act together PROPERLY. It'd just be a joke if they did now, Doherty's fast becoming a self parody, and I'm usually the last to avoid doubting him.
I don't think Carl wants the reform, from what i've seen, he's quick to dismiss it

Libertines wont reform proper. no way.
and to be honest i hope they dont, theyre legends. the way it all fell apart and that, its part of that.

I'm definitely with you on this Cal - it's just not the same, The Libs will go down as legends just like Sex Pistols.
Maybe in the future do some one off gigs like the pistols but don't reform.
The press will love it that DPT have split - just think of all the reforming/Babyshambles split up stories they will get out of this!
